4723 Garth Road Baytown, Texas 77521

Baytown Fire Department, Fire Station #1 is located in the North Central part of the city approximately two miles south of Interstate 10 (click on address for map location).  Station 1 was formerly Station 3, built in 1928, which was moved from the 100 block of South Main in 1986.  A 55' Boardman 1000 GPM squirt was purchased at that time and became Engine 3.  In 1993 a 75' Smeal 1500 GPM Quint (which is now Reserve L-1) was purchased and the station was then re-assigned as station one and the new quint was then designated Ladder 1.  In 2003 station one received a 75' Pierce 2000 GPM Quint, which was placed in service as the new Ladder 1.

Battalion 1 is also located at this station.  Battalion 1 is the shift commander for the city's five fire stations.  This station also houses the Reserve L-1.

The station also houses Medic 1, which is an ALS Ambulance.
